10 Years of Longboard Classic this week-end! Don’t miss it!

We are totally stoked to support the up-coming Longboard Classic this week-end in Stuben, Austria, and totally pissed that we cannot be part of it because this year they will celebrate 10 Years of Longboard Classic.
Numerous snowboard legends have applied for the 10th anniversary: Chuck Barfoot, owner of the correspondent snow-surf- and skate firm and one of the 4 founding fathers of snowboarding. Terry Kidwell, the „Godfather of Freestyle“, 4 times Freestyle World Champion and all-time Sims team rider as well as Shawn Farmer, the freerider who showed us in the late 80ies what it is like being a local in Alaska. Terry and Shawn are also going to get the crowd rocking with their band „Hunk of Metal“, which is probably the most legendary snowboard band in the world: Terry Kidwell (guitar), Shawn Farmer (vocals), Bob Klein (drums), Scotty Milburn (bass), Jeff Hackett (lead guitar & vocals).
But that’s not all: It will be the ultimate class reunion! Three generations of snowboard heroes from the fields industry, riders and media will celebrate ten years of Longboard Classic together!
The Longboard Classic race will go down 1,001 altitude difference off-piste as usual from the “Albona Grat” (2,408m) in a Le Mans mass start to Stuben Village (1,407m), whereas there will be 3 categories (old school, boys and girls) for the results. But 6 more special awards like youngest rider, oldest rider, Soulmen,… Because the credo is not to be first but to meet legends and friends, find new ones and to have fun snowboarding with like-minded people.

Fee: Euro 50 (including day ticket, event shirt, lunch and beverage)
Number of spectators: None! – Everyone will take part!!
