Blue Tomato was celebrating on 12.9.09 the 3rd anniversary of the shop in Graz. For this unique occurrence they took us to Absinthe’s Neverland and much more…

All the happening was going on at the Postgarage in Graz. Right in front of the club there was a large tour bus, that guys are cruzing from one premiere to another. JP Solberg, Romain de Marchi, Nicolas Müller, Cale Zima and Bode Marrill really heated up the evening.

This winter Absinthe dropped one of the most outstanding productions of the year. Travis Rice, Dan Brisse, Bode Merrill, Nicolas Müller, Sylvain Bourbousson, JP Solberg, Romain deMarchi, DCP, Marc Frank Montoya, Annie Boulanger, Marie-France Roy, Jules Reymond, Wille Yli-Luoma, Cale Zima, Phil Damianakes, Wolfgang Nyvelt, Kevin Pearce, Eero Ettala, Gigi Rüf set a new limits in the world of snowboarding.
Nicolas Müller, Kevin Pearce and Eero Ettala riding bottomless pow pow through the trees in Japan. Some nice follow cam lines, huge drops and not to forget puffy pillows. People were already shivering. After that RDM, JPS, DCP show what backcountry freestyle really is about. Heavy bangers, double corks, killing slams. No wonder that their moto is “yes we can”. Absolutely agree with them. MFR shows us that also the ladies can kick ass in backcountry. Girl power!!! Also Sylvain Bourbousson is killing it with some huge hits and representing France. And what is up with Travis Rice?!? He is a killer with warrior style. With out a comment. Cale Zima shows us what is all about urban ridding. But then come Gigi Rüf and later Wolle Nyvelt. Pow pow all the way. Gigi is going big and Wollen is ripping without bindings on his Äsmo. Really nice!!! The movie ends with Bode Merrill completely destroying everything…despite too much booze, really nice ladies and outblowing party, movie made me want to shred.

After the movie, which aroused much enthusiasm and heavy applause, there were plenty of giveaways and goodies to get. Like Wolle Nyvelt Snow-wear Combo, Salomon and Nitro snowboards and bindings and much more. For a good vibe and sound were DJ Buzz, DJ Zuzee, DJ Stylestab and B.Visible in charge.
