Hotzone.tv Park Opening Hintertux 2009 - Report & Teaser

The Hotzone.tv Park Opening 2009 took place in Hintertux for the fifth year this week end. The park conditions were perfect just like the weather on Saturday and Sunday.

The present riders have done their best on the really cool set up of the Hintertux Gletscher Betterpark. Two big kickers with a small hip at the end, a nice superpipe, so many boxes and rails and a few other medium and small kickers. On Saturday the “Session of the dudes” was going on a double line of 15m & 17m kickers, where all the riders were battling for the “Golden Opening Alarm Clock”.
Afterward all the action moved in front of the Tuxer Fernerhaus to the Minishred Rail Line, a jib contest on a flat down box. MC Jackson was offering out the €€€ for hitting tricks that were called, or just for some crazy moves.
Meanwhile we also tested some fresh products from brands like Rome, Flux, Völkl, DC, K2, Burton, Nitro, Forum, Bataleon and some others in Test Zone at the Tuxer Fernerhaus. This year there are some really good products on the market.
After that, Bomb Drop Session, a bag-jump session was organized on the parking of the skilift, with the Forum sponsored chili-dog eating contest.
And to finish the day, we’ve been to the big opening night to watch the new Hotzone.tv team movie and had too many beers!
Sunday was as good as Saturday so we’ve worked along with the riders to shoot some good tricks on almost everything in the park. This is just a Trailer of the upcoming official video that will be edited by the organization crew including our footage.
