One highlight after the other expects you at the three day winter opening on Stubai glacier from October 23rd to 25th. The program in and around the Stubai Zoo snowpark is already all planned out and promises an opening at its best. With Skullcandy Cash-for-tricks sessions, fashion shows, product tests and some great parties the opening offers something for everyone.
From Friday afternoon on, the guests can expect an unforgettable weekend at the Stubai opening. There is a lot of equipment and the collections from Burton, Nitro, Salomon, K2, Flow and Ride and many more waiting in the Brandsaloon around the Jochdohle. Everything will be put to the acid test all weekend long. After a comfortable jibb session in the park, the chill area invites you to relax and to enjoy some goodies from the barbecue. A good way to steel oneself for the evening.
Saturday is going to start really good as well. Benjamin Wetscher, Philip Paffenberg and some more riders of the national DC team are going to help you with tips and tricks in the free DC snowboard camp.
Better save one of the popular camp places for Saturday or Sunday on www.stubai-zoo.com. Werni Stock, a snowboard shooting star, will gladly answer your questions at the Salomon Meet & Greet. But that’s not enough: With a little luck one of you can win a Salomon snowboard or one of the numerous other prizes and you can go out for a shred session with Werni.
Nina Eibel, who is a rider of the Girls Only O’Neill team, is going to coach you for the following O’Neill Candy Girls Contest on Sunday. The stuff you have learned will be reviewed in a video analyse. There will also be waiting a lot of O’Neill goodies for you at the Candy Girl Contest on Sunday.
Saturday’s and Sunday’s highlight will definitely be the Volcom Shop Battle. All snowboard shops are asked to field a team with their best riders. The most successful among them will compete for the Volcom prizes at a relaxed atmosphere in a cool session in the park. The contest will be accompanied online by the snowboarderMBM every day. The shop that wins can look forward to an ad in the next edition of snowboarderMBM. You can also find daily news and gossip on that page. Even those ones, who can’t participate in the battle, either because they don’t belong to a shop team, don’t have the guts or for any other reason, still have the possibility to prove themselves in front of the public. Everybody can take part at the Skullcandy Trick Session on Saturday and Sunday, where you can win some cash or goodies from Skullcandy for a stylish trick.
On Friday the “Dorfpub” in Neustift will host the pre-party with the Wax Wreckaz from Innsbruck and on Saturday there will be the Quiksessions-Party in the leisure center “Freizeitcenter” in Neustift. You’ll be spoilt for choice. Besides the beach-party floor, where you can enjoy tasty cocktails, like a Sex on the Beach, there is also the concert floor were the crowd can look forward to see Prinz Pi, the undisputed king of underground rap.
Right after the big name in hip hop from Berlin, you can hear some music from Austria’s capital. The “Vammumtn” from Vienna are going to fire up the audience before the Drunkenmasters a.k.a. Big Joe and DJ Slim C on their turntables will care for packed dance floors until the wee hours of morning.
