Stubai glacier, cirka one hour driving south from Innsbruck, hosted this weekend from October 23rd to 25th MoreBoards Stubai Premiere for the third time. And you all know the saying “third time lucky”, well here was the same story.

On Friday morning sky was totaly packed with clouds and piste map at ticket office was showing a red light for a Funpark. Wtf?!? Park is closed on the opening day or what we thought. On the way up we realized that was snowing yesterday and soon decision was made. What can be better than enjoing pow pow if there closed park. After two hours of having fun outside the slopes the sun came out, so we headed toward the Moreboards Stubai Zoo Funpark.

Right above the Funpark, organizers decided to set the Brand Saloon, which was the best place possible to find. Brands like Burton, K2, DC, Smith, Yes, Flux,  Lib Tech, Forum, Flow, Oakley and many others were showing off with the freshest collection. And there was not a problem to test the hottest stuff. Around midday the Schneestern Crew were done with last corrections in the Funpark. They needed to shape the park after snowing the night before. And they did a great job. Thumbs up!!! Super good park and sun coming out of clouds was a great combination for a perfect day. Later in the evening there was a party going on down in Neustift. Dorfpub was crowded and Wax Wreckas’s choice of music made people to stay and rock the house late in the night.

Next day we woke in blue bird sky. Up on the mountain again fresh pow pow and perfect park. Hard decision to make. First event on a schedule was the Volcom Shop Battle. Some of the snowboard shops around the Austria send their best riders to win the battle. Riders needed to show their skills on big kicker, speeding through the slalom slope and on the end there was 8m long down rail. Serious action was going on. For all the yelling and enthusiasm in the Funpark Mr. Jon Weaver took care. I have never heard such a crazy speaker, shooting words like he had a machine gun in his mouth.

After the Volcom Shop Battle it was time for the Skullcandy Cash for tricks session, which took place on straight box and on a straight gas pipe. Riders desirous of money rocked the obstacles. Quickly we figured out that this session is more like “gib Geld, gib Geld” (give the money) session. Saturday’s Quiksessions Party was crazy.

Leisure center Freizeitzentrum put on a menu a beach-party floor and a concert floor. First choice was quite interested, but there was bunch of dudes soaking in the pool and just four chicks were brave enough to show their nice bodies. So the second choice was on. Drunkenmasters a.k.a. Big Joe and DJ Slim C showed their skills behind turn tables which was the main reason that people went nuts that evening.

Sunday was all about Skullcandy Cash for tricks session a.k.a “Gib geld, gib geld session”. The new phrase became popular in a moment, so the rest of the Sunday Jon Weaver was just screaming “gib geld, gib Geld”. After the money was gone also the Snowbroader crew headed back home.

We were also delivering LIVE streaming over the whole week-end, but don’t worry, if you missed any it is still possible to rewatch our videos. Check what was going on the whole week-end and join our SnowBroader community. And don’t forget to come back, because a short movie is also coming till end of this week with all sharp happenings, which I can not explain it here…so stay tuned!!!
