Don’t have a clue what to do this weekend??? Here is an idea… Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam!!! Where? At the Atomic Superpark Dachstein!!! When? From 13.11. till 15.11.2009!!! Get ready because just 4 days left to enter the weekend of madness…
Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam is what snowboarders mean when they talk about a season-opener that compliments the vibes, the lifestyle, preferences and intentions of thousands of enthusiastic shredders coming together from the whole continent. And this is already the seventh version which will get another upgrade! This year the contest will be again a Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour 4 Star Event, which emphasises it’s growing importance in the european snowboard scene. The contest will be held in a slopestyle format.
According to QParks Parkdesigner Bernd Mandlberger the contestline comprises a kinked-Butterbox, two big kickers with 12m and 18m, a funbox with 13m and a wallride. Furthermore there are two kickers with 10 and 13 m. That sounds very good!
Besides considerable monetary and tangible prizes, the participants will also compete for some special awards again. As additional motivation for participants, for the this year’s Pleasure Jam, the handsome sum of $15.000 in cash can be proudly announced as prizemoney. In addition, incredible material prizes such as a 3 week’s trip to Balisurfcamp and a brand-new board, including the flight, guiding, a boardbag, insurance and a rental surfboard worth as much as $5000,- in total. Pretty enough to get ready and practice, we’d say! There are 10 invited men riders; Bergmann Darek, Elhardt Elias, Ettala Eero, Gimpl Stefan, Grilc Marko, Keller Markus, Croell Christian, Laivisto Jusso, Uotila Ville, Wimmer Stefan and 3 ladies Mass Cheryl, Panchocova Sarka and Bounaud Alicia. Plus 97 registered riders. That means 110 riders!!!
After a good day on the mountain there is nothing better than a great party at night! Watch out, it´s gonna be hot!!! On Friday, 13.11.2009 Blue Tomato Opening Party at Hohenhaus Tenne Schladming:
