
After a night of action on the big air jump at the 6Star TTR Billabong Air & Style 2009/II in Innsbruck, Austria, Marko Grilc took the top spot on the podium and is now the new leader on Swatch TTR World Tour. Grilc was not on the original invite list, but after two injures during practice for the main event, he was given a spot in the legendary snowboard competition.
Marco beat fellow Burton team-mate Peetu Piiroinen from Finland in the Super Final. The result catapults Marco to no.1 spot on the World Tour Ranking list, overtaking Seb Toutant who did not compete due to injury.
