Here are 9 minutes of video pleasure to sum up a year of snowboarding courtesy of our Bros from Shralp! 2009 was an incredible winter and it delivered epic moments both during contests and in the video releases of the fall.
Shralp! looks back on the major TTR contests like the BEO (our video edit is a must see) where Kevin Pearce scored an amazing pipe run that allowed him to beat Shaun White hands-up!
2009 was also the year snowboarding invaded New York City. The Red Bull Skyscrapers was expected to be huge but it turned out to be a disappointing event because la crème de la crème of riders Red Bull invited couldn’t really show their real level on the massive construction.
On the complete opposite side of the chart, the totally laid-back Longboard Classic was successful at gathering legends of the snowboarding age!
The TTR season never really ends…Peetu Piroinen was crowned in 2009 but the new season set off on a completely new level with Shaun White showing back to back Double Corks at the Burton New Zealand Open.
Fall arrived and so did all the video teasers, premiere dates, and finally DVDs of the year. Shralp! showcases two of the best videos of the winter: Isenseven’s Let’s Go Get Lost and Absinthe’s Neverland.
The 2009 edit concludes on Marko Grilc win at the Air&Style and we can only look forward to all the sessions, contests, parties, powder lines, and happy times of 2010!

Snowboarding does rock! Great stuff and well presented
Nice compilation!
I made one of my own compilations, except it’s a “best of” the 2010 snowboarding videos.
