Spot-Check Video Contest – Tirol’s sickest spot in 60 seconds

“The sickest clip of your favorite spot in Tirol” – that’s the theme of the Spot-Check Video Contest, which has been up and running since March 1, 2010 on Planet-Tirol.com. The contest invites all ambitious filmers und shredders to present their coolest location in Tirol in a short 60 seconds clip.
For the second time this season, Planet-Tirol.com is calling all snowboarders und freeskiers to capture their action, happening in the heart of Tirol’s alps, on video camera. Planet Tirol is looking for the sickest clip, shot at only one single location in Tirol – that means supreme action in 60 seconds. Whether the clips feature backcountry lines, park runs or jib sessions is up to you. Having fun in Tirol’s mountains has top priority.
The deadline for uploading your Spot-Check clip to Planet-Tirol.com is March 31, 2010. Subsequently, the users will judge all uploaded videos in an online voting process, which starts on April 01 and runs until April 15. The winner-clip receives a Tirol Snow Card for the next season 2010/11 as well as a Casio HIGH SPEED EXILIM EX- FH100. The 2nd and 3rd each get a Casio HIGH SPEED EXILIM EX-FH100 – the camera, that is able to shoot up to 1000 pictures per second and supports HD-quality filming.
Additionally, all participants are given the chance to receive one of two special awards that are handed out. Among all snowboard videos, Shralp! is going to select one of the submitted Spot-Check clips to fully air in episode #148 on April 18, 2010. At the freeski end, the guys from Aestivation will choose one participant as a promising assistant for their Nine Knights production on April 19 and 20, 2010. Accomodation & travel budget are of course part of the package.
