The rumor was intense since the start of the winter but a few weeks ago JP and Romain DeMarchi confirmed it on SnowBroader.
After Burton shot down the Un…Inc program - with no apparent reason but sales pressure - one of the sickest crew of riders ever was just asked to leave the premises with a tap on the shoulder as the only mark of gratitude. Pretty weird feeling after having experienced so much thanks to Burton, traveled the world, ridden the craziest spots and building up a crew which had a true identity and attitude materialized by the Un…Inc collections.
But life is like that and CHANGE is good. New challenges, new motivations and new ideas. When RDM came back to Switzerland with no board sponsor, he naturally gave a call to JMZ, the godfather of the Pulp68 family. JMZ fixed him with some custom made blank boards to shred the local mountains and that’s when it all started: “Why not make our own boards?”
A couple of phone calls later, JP and DCP were stoked about the idea. And with nothing more than friendship, dedication and the support of the NdKreative and Swiss Engineering, YES. NOW BOARD was born.
Here’s our video interview with JMZ, the driving force behind Yes. With the SIA, in Vegas next week and ISPO right after in Munich, the boys have been busy sharpening their concept, creating the brand identity but most importantly testing heaps of boards to propose some of the most advanced, innovative and creative boards on the market. JMZ talks about all of that, their plans and why Yes is different than all the other brands.
Yes breaks the codes, imposes its particularity and marks a dramatic change in the things that have been established for the past 15 years. Yes is a project that comes from the heart, because it is what snowboarding is missing today. We believe in Yes!
Check out our interview:
For the special occasion of the launch of Yes, JMZ gave us a limited edition skate deck: “You can’t kill the pig”.
Leave a comment on this post and the best one will receive this collector!

Join YES. NOW BOARD on facebook.
UPDATE: All the comments you left stoked us. So we randomly picked one. Check your inbox to see if you are the lucky one!
You can still leave comments on this post of course but the limited Can’t kill the pig deck has been won already! Thx.

Freestyle was the first surf watch brand in the U.S. Since 1981, Freestyle has been making durable, dependable, stylish watches all built to withstand the abuses of the high-intensity, rider lifestyle, both in and out of the water.
The brand is coming to Europe in 2009 and it’s rocking out the clock out with the SHARK Series, fun color digital watches! I’m rockin my Freestyle watch and it’s pretty funky.
