Team “Jack & Cheese” Take Wängl Tängl. Check the video!Posted by: nico in Contests, CrewWe didn’t cover the Wängl Tängl at the standard that it deserves. So we are going to repair that right now. The Wängl Tängl is a unique event not only because some of the best crews are performing in one of the most creative park in Europe, the Vans Penken Park, but also thanks to the all-round good vibes.
It’s Xmas time and the Isenseven crew received a nice gift from jolly old Nitro Claus: a super exclusive Nitro T1 IsenSeven pro model snowboard! But this gift can also be yours of course. An Isenseven snowboard. Probably only the most awesome thing ever. Ever. Your new shredstick comes in the sizes 153 and 156 and has all the features of the regular Nitro T1 board. The board was designed by Isenseven, for you and features flashy colors, Snowboardfranz, clouds, paintsplats, snappy slogans and all kinds of other cool wingdings. Saturday, May 3rd marked a momentous occasion for the Sandbox crew and for their new film, ‘ALL DAY EVERYDAY‘. The Whistler/Blackcomb marketing team, along with the park staff put together one of the best sunset film shoots ever done in Whistler. The jump was perfect and the riders, filmers and the pilot got their timing right, the sunset was perfect. The riders stomped 900’s and 1080’s as the sunset lit up the sky. Two hour session of flying, filming and riding…here is an idea of how it looked like!
Bruno Rivoire and Brynild Vulin organised the Intercrew for the 5th year in the Chamrousse park. The recipe stays simple but it works: riding with your bros, with no pressure on super well shaped hits. Bruno would like to tell you how much it was snowing when they were shaping, how Dallast from the Hautes Alpes crew hit the sphere gap on a sledge, how Franky Moissonier (CIA crew) was stomping frontside 7s while Luchio from Bouchkail crew landed super smooth switch bs 9s…Bruno could tell you how hot the parties were, how the park was too good to ride, how the crowd really pushed the riders to go bigger and bigger….Well Bruno would like to tell you all of this and more but he won’t and prefers to send you these pics and tell you that you missed it all! Don’t miss it next year BrOs! Here is a special video from Jerome Joly.
And click below for really nice pics from the organisers as well as from Debohra Saba and the results!

“For all those who are not tired of all the video footage of the Air&Style in Munich yet, Isenseven presents some more! As you’ve probably know everything about the contest and it’s results, this clip doesn’t really have any documentary character… it’s more like a conglomeration of lights, colors and thousands of people, a little ode to sensory overload. Who didn’t make it to the stadium, can now sit in there again for 4 minutes. For a true I-was-there-too-feeling, you get this clip in HD quality at www.isenseven.de Thanks to the Air&Style and all the thousands of people coming out that day.”
“IN LOVE” is the new project by Tribe Films, a croatian snowboard movie production. This second opus from Tribe films follows their first movie “RI:SPEKT” which was released on DVD in fall 2006. The release is planned on December, 1st 2007, with a big Premiere in Rijeka on the Croatian coast. We really appreciated the teaser because it’s fun, high level, but most of all you feel a real snowBROarding happiness. These Croates just can’t stop smiling and that so cool! Check it out for yourself! Bok! Since a couple of weeks, we are connecting with crews from all over Europe who are also into blogging, photography or video production. Our objective is to create some sort of “European Online Crew Collective.eu” and become a hub for more local news/reports from what is happening around our Euro-mountains!
We took off from Slovenian town Skofja Loka on Wednesday, 31st October in the afternoon and drove to Kaprun, Salzburg. We arrived late afternoon and found ourselves an apartment in the village Zellermoos between Zell am See and Kaprun (on the left side over the railroad) called Haus Unterberger. It was really nice and cheap so we recommend it. Next morning we went to the glacier where we paid a lot for two day ticket (70EUR). The weather would be great if there wouldn’t be heavy winds on the top of the mountain, exactly there where ROXY snow park is placed. The park itself was perfectly shaped but with one basic error: You just couldn’t get enough speed for most of the objects. Mostly because of heavy winds and because the lift wasn’t working at that time, so if you really wanted you could hike for half an hour uphill and you eventually could not get enough speed for anything. All that didn’t break our spirit. We found some objects to ride and enjoyed our session. Later the lift started, but the queue was soon too long to bother. Second day the weather was perfect. No winds, sunny with some clouds. However you still had to walk for a minute uphill from the upper lift station to get enough speed for jumps. It was nearly impossible to ride two kickers in a row. The park itself is just a little bit too flat. Anyway, we had a great time. You can check our video now. Ajde!”
Crews from all over Europe: take your cameras, cell phones, whatever, and go shoot! Keep it true and bring back the trophy!! To inspire you, here the teaser of last year’s winner: |
