It’s been a while since our last PROblog spotlight, so this time around we’d like to talk about LeysinPark!
BElieve it or not but our home resort of Leysin holds an important part in the development of snowboarding in Europe. Maybe you know that a certain Steve Graham spent a few years in the American boarding school here in the late 80ies, or you still remember the epic freestyle competitions that were held for over 15 years with riders like Terje, Daniel Franck, Reto Lamm, Berti Denervaud, Guillaume Chastagnol, Babs Charlet, Jonas Emery coming to kill it in the halfpipe or on the Vagabond’s dancefloor…good ol’times!
Today Leysin is not hosting any major snowboard competition anymore, but the new generation of riders and fanatics behind the LeysinPark is keeping the spirit alive!
And most of it gravites around the perfectly shaped snowpark and most of all one of only 4 superpipes in Switzerland!
Of course SnowBroader is super proud to be the media partner of LeysinPark!
So to keep informed on all that is happening make sure to visit the LeysinPark PROblog, and of course if you are in the region, come ride here. You might see Cyril Neri or Nicolas Vaudroz scoring insane lines, Tonton Holland throwing huge styled rotations in the park shaped by Normann Kerr and end up dancing all night long on the beat of photogrpaher turned DJ: Pat Vermeulen. See you there.

Christian Brecheis is the man. The young and talented photographer from Munich already has an impressive list of clients in his portfolio which makes it almost impossible that you have not seen some of his pics before. Christian has been shooting for many top brands and contributing to most if not all major snowboard publications in Europe, the USofA, and Japan. We are stoked that Christian has elected to have a PROblog on SnowBroader along his official website and photography blog.
If you are into snowboarding and photography, you just want to check Christian’s PROblog regularly and save it to your favorites. Christian is using his PROblog to share his adventures, trips, likes, and love of snowboarding photography. And he wants you to get involved as he is always opened to answer your questions on photography in order to discover more or improve your photo skills.

Wojtek is our Bro from Poland. He is a real warrior. He has more balls than any rider out there. Wojtek has an incredible motivation that pushes him to try insane tricks specially on the massive rails around his resort of Zakopane. Wojtek pulled on of the sickest rails last season: a 63 steps monster. It didn’t turn out so good at the end as he got injured to one of his knees and is still suffering from it, a real nightmare it seems. We wish him all the best and reading his PROblog we are happy to see that he is back on his board. Wojtek has a video of his incomplete part from the movie “ready to” by MEP on his PROblog; incomplete because of his knee…
Wojtek is also featured in the movie Slovaki - A true movie about snowboarding by Rene Eckert.
Click below to check out the teaser focusing on Wojtek and his gnarly rail. It’s a beauty and shows the personnality of this rider that we are stoked to have on the PROblog network!

Tj Schneider not only is one of the most creative riders out there, he is also the one who - in our opinion - has understood the best the power of social media and really takes advantage of the web2.0 tools to create his world and build his career.
Tj has been producing video podcasts dubbed “The Snowboard Realms” last winter and today is the official launch of the second season!
These are Tj’s plan for the coming episodes: “we hope that the mountains will start opening up here soon, Whistler nov 28 we would like to cover that, head down to breck for a while for early jump/pipe shred, were going to cover the first dew tour stop with brandon cocard, we are going to do some jib trips, a month in europe with pirates i believe, month in japan with some of the airblaster crew, maybe pirates maybe weird guys, then we plan to stick around the us and canada for a while until the seasons ends, but who knows, snowboarding plans always change….”
We are proud to have Tj on our Premium Snowboard Blogs Network! Make sure not to miss the new episodes of Tj’s snowboard realms this season! More on his PROblog!

As you have noticed we have introduced the PROblogs this season because we believe blogs are a great interactive communication channel. Our objective with our Premium Snowboard Blog Network is to have brands, film crews, photographers, parks, riders, industry insiders blog about their life, events, hopes, mood, parties, sessions, products, whatever they are up too, in the natural, raw and informal manner that blogs allow!
So from time to time we will put the spotlight on one of our PROblogs. Let’s start this new section with Tribe films, a film crew from Croatia! You wouldn’t expect to have a huge snowboard scene in this country which is more renowned for its beautiful coast, wake cables, hot girls, and good food. But there is a bunch of über-motivated boys and girls that head out to shred the hills whenever there is snow on them or travel around to neighbor Slovenia or even push it until Italy or Austria to get their fix.
The Tribe film crew is made up by Vid Baric, Matija Dukic, Toni Jelenic, Marko Dukic, Anja Stefan, Maja Radisic, PJ Gustafsson, Relja Ancic, Filip Krstanovic and many more.
This year they are back with their third film project that will appeal to all you poker freaks out there: ALL IN!
The movie will be released on December 19th and will be available for free download.
The big premiere will be held in Stereo Hall in Rijeka on Dec. 19. 2008. Swedish electroclash superstars Alice In Videoland will headline the night, supported by some local artists.
The teaser is already online. Of course you can check it out on their PROblog!
