The Hotzone.tv Park Opening 2009 took place in Hintertux for the fifth year this week end. The park conditions were perfect just like the weather on Saturday and Sunday.

Just two more weeks of a winter fever and all shredding junkies will be able to appease their needs. Yes, first Snowboard Park Opening of the season and like for the last five years we are talking about Hotzone.tv Park Opening Hintertux!!!
Of course the SnowBroader crew will be there and we plan to bring you a video as sick as the one from last year!
As you know we edited our own - pinard style - video of the Park Opening in Hintertux. But the Munchie crew has also produced an “official” to celebrated one of most legendary snowboard opening ever on the Hintertuxer!
Their flick is not just some edit, no - the sound support of the opening, the Soulid Collective Crew including Simple, Demograffics and King Banana as well as Mortal Kombat Sound and DJ Rufflow wrote two dubplates just for this review and performed it at the opening as well. Well dude it’s like this… the opening of the park in Hintertux by Hotzone.tv was such a cool event!
We were lucky to have good snow conditions, 70cm of fresh snow at the top of the glacier, but only one day of sun.
Anyway it was enough for the present riders to stomp sick tricks. Wolle Nyvelt, Marco Feichtner, Friedl Kolar, Marco Grilc and many other were there to hit the kickers. Most of the biggest snowboard brands were also there to let everyone test their new material for free.
What about the fun? Can a snowboard event be cool without a party? NO WAY!
The munchiekonsilium crew knows that and so they had organized a big party in Hintertux with the video projection of the new Absinthe production “READY” and also the new promotionnal DVD of the Hotzone Tv team “Well dude it’s like this“. They had also organized an American Gladiators arena to have some fun fights where a lot of cool prizes were given to the winners.
Well we had so much fun in Hintertux so we recommend everyone of you to go there to check this amazing place. Like Malibu would say “SWEEEET“!
