The snow and the fog didn’t get the best of the very motivated snowboarders in the finals of the NESCAFE CHAMPS 2010 in Leysin. The Frenchman, Johann Baisamy wins this edition and Patrick Burgener finishes in second place, only a point away from the top spot on the podium. Maxence Tevelle, takes 3rd place. Jan Scherrer, surprisingly strong in yesterday’s qualifications, finishes a respectable 4th place.

Yo people! We are in Leysin for the Nescafe Champs Open 2010! The champs is back in Leysin, back to its roots and the vibes are really good! The Place to be is down in the village for all after-riding and the shred action is happening on the LeysinPark superpipe which is looking massive! The resort of Leysin in the French-speaking part of Switzerland is ready to welcome the world’s elite freestyle snowboarders for an epic halfpipe competition. From March 4th to 7th, 2010, the NESCAFÉ CHAMPS will be a unique occasion to witness the world’s best riders in action, but also a chance to meet the big names who have contributed to the success of this legendary contest in the past.

With a last minute change, the Nikita Chickita Swiss Tour (open to chicks only but adviced to all the dudes) 1st stage will take place today in Leysin. The stage will be held in a slopestyle format with two lines, a blue line and a red line. The conditions on the LeysinPark are per-fect as you can see from the webcams, so ladies gives a run for our money!

The Pinard’s is a gang of dudes from Leysin in Switzerland who loves the 80’s! During the winter, they spent most of their time at the après-ski…but sometimes between two or three beers, they go up to film a little bit.

The Pinard crew from Leysin, Switzerland, has been drinking hard and riding hard the whole winter!
Now they are ready to drop the teaser of their up-coming video upon us : “Pinard c’est des tocards” - that can be translate into “Pinard are deadbeats“.
We are stoked to see the teaser and looking forward to the movie, as Pull Up and the guys have been traveling a bit around Europe to film video reports for SnowBroader and always took the opportunity to shred and bring back some footage for their movie.
Check out some of the cool videos, Pinard produced for us this winter like the Hintertux Park Opening, the BEO, a couple of Burton AM Tour stops or the Absolut Spring Battle!

Their teaser is of course pure Pinard style: a 3 minutes summary of a winter season spent drinking, partying, riding, drinking, filming, road tripping, and yeah, drinking! Prost!
